Description:

This course is designed to give the intermediate and advanced photography student a means to explore and capture real events, nothing posed, nothing made-up. There will be an overview in basic black-and-white photographic techniques, including darkroom and lab procedures. Students will also be exposed to the history of photography through a slide presentation. The focus is on content as well as artistic style, capturing images and events rather than making them. Prerequisite: Photography: Beginners. ( Fall)
