This course integrates the development of more advanced reading and communication skills using authentic literature that reflects the diverse views of spanish speaking peoples and their cultures. It also features extensive review of the fundamentals presented in SPA 101 & 102, which enables students to refine their understanding and use of grammatical concepts. Prerequisites: SPA 101 & 102. Advanced placement by CLEP exam or via interview with Spanish faculty recommended. (3 s.h.) Fulfills the cultural awareness core requirement.
