This course covers the planning, organizing, leading, and controlling functions within organizations. Emphasis will be placed on management theory and applications which address these functions. Additionally, emphasis will be placed on understanding the internal and external environments of organizations, decision making processes, organization design, and current issues affecting the practice of management. Prerequisites: Junior standing and ENG 250 or instructor approval. (3 s.h.)
