In the 21st century, women and men in American society face a multitude of issues that impact their citizenship roles. A number of these issues are influenced by the gender roles that have been historically assigned to females and males. This class will explore the biological and historical roots of our gender roles and the extent to which these roles impact our behaviors in our personal as well as our public lives.
