This course will introduce the student to the elements and procedures necessary in all types of media productions, including film, video and audio production. Students will learn the production method of scripting, visualizing, producing and editing through hands-on experience. By preparing audio and video projects, students will learn how to create their projects utilizing production equipment such as cameras, microphones, computers, lights, etc. Students will critically examine composition techniques and aesthetics in their own work, and that of their peers and professionals. Students must have a video camera with external microphone plugs and fire wire export capabilities. Learning Outcome: Civility. Prerequisite: MASS 201 (for F&B Majors). Offered every year.
