The primary purpose of this course is to conduct research and write an argumentative college-level research paper. Students examine interdisciplinary materials related to citizenship and community for ideas and information relevant to their research. Students focus on thesis development, source selection and evaluation, supporting evidence, organization, and proper documentation for research papers. Prerequisite: ENGL 110.
