This course is a comprehensive study of the commonly accepted techniques used to clinically evaluate athletic injuries and illness for the purpose of determining the type and severity as well as the prescription of appropriate treatment and/or referral. Students will investigate typical symptoms and common clinical signs associated with athletic injuries and illnesses, including common contributing etiological factors. This course focuses primarily on the upper body. Prerequisite: BIO 211.
