Topics include fertilization cleavage, gestrulation, axis specification, organogenesis, morphogens, and stem cells. Laboratory sessions focus on experimental manipulations of early invertebrate and vertebrate embryos and emphasize student-designed research projects. Prerequisites: Biol 301, Biol 302
