The course will continue to apply the translation theory and techniques introduced in SPAN 420, and it will continue to focus on English-to-Spanish and Spanish-to-English non-literary translation. Emphasis will be placed on materials selected from the fields of business, advertising, and legal discourse. Class projects will include translation of advertisements, legal documents, and business brochures.
