This course will provide an overview of the field of human factors, including two major components: (1) a background in specific content areas of psychology that have direct relevance to the field and (2) a survey of direct applications of these areas to real-world problems. The content areas include research methods, sensory and perceptual processes, learning and memory, human information processing, decision making.
