The third of four courses on Western Culture required of all honors students. Covers the period from 17th to 19th centuries. Focus in on the emergence of scientific thought, Enlightenment political theory, Romantic individualism, and the great 19th century intellectual revolutions of Darwinism, Marxism, and feminism.
