This course explores the intersection of science, technology, and public policy. Scientific knowledge and technological innovations are exceptionally powerful resources for policy-makers and for societies; they also pose great challenges and risks. This course will look at how science and technology affect the pursuit of policy goals in areas such as public health, environmental sustainability, economic growth, and national security.
