Description:

The course is primarily concerned with the determination of the rate of heat transfer due to the transport of energy to or from surfaces by both molecular conduction processes and gross fluid movement inside channels and over external surfaces. Emphasis will be placed on basic understanding of the convection heat transfer phenomena and the necessary mathematical techniques for the solution of such problems along with engineering applications. Graduate standing or special permission. (YR). 3.000 Credit hours 3.000 Lecture hours Levels: Doctorate, Graduate, Rackham Schedule Types: Lecture Mechanical Engineering Department
