This course provides basic knowledge of elements in Computer-Integrated Manufacturing Systems, with particular emphasis on Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM), Computer-Aided Process Planning (CAPP), materials handling, and information flow in manufacturing systems. Hands-on experiments and course projects are required.
