This course will be offered in conjunction with a 300- or 400-level German literature, film, or cultural course in translation taught by a member of the German faculty. The one-credit course will be conducted entirely in German. Students will develop their language skills dealing with the topics of the course in translation. They will also be required to read related texts in German. Students who successfully complete the Praktikum and the corresponding German in translation course can receive four credits of German. The topics will vary depending on the English language content course. Students must be concurrently registered in appropriate 300- or 400-level courses taught by a German instructor.
