Students study the rhetorical problems facing the professional engineer in industry and learn practical strategies for analyzing and communicating technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Topics include audience analysis, technical research methods, report formats (written and oral, formal and informal), argumentation and persuasion, editing.
