This course gives students a general introduction to the engineering profession and covers some of the elementary skills that students need in order to be successful in their engineering studies. The course covers topics and problems pertaining to mechanical, industrial/manufacturing, and electrical/computer engineering. Aspects of engineering analysis and design are highlighted. Computer skills and communication skills (both oral and written) are emphasized throughout the semester.
