This course provides an introduction to the fundamentals of modern wireless communication. The focus of this course will be on the (i) basic signal propagation issues and channel impairments, (ii) modulation schemes and bandwidth/power trade-offs, and (iii) overcoming channel impairment using equalizers, diversity and channel coding.
