Spectral characterization of periodic and aperiodic signals. Frequency response. Sampling and Fourier Analysis. Discrete time signals. Input-output relationships in discrete-time systems, including impulse response, transfer function, and frequency response. Design and analysis of digital filters - finite impulse response (FIR) and infinite impulse response (IIR). Matlab projects will be assigned.
