This course introduces classroom teachers to the education of gigted and talented students in the regular classroom. It is designed to help teachers understand the social, emotional, and intellectual needs of gifted students and to show then ways of effectively addressing these needs along with those of the other students presrnt. It will offer specific proposals for structuring the learning environment as well as for selecting appropriate levels and types of subject matter.
