This course covers the core tenets of the Microsoft Foundation Class (MFC) or similar package and Windows programming. The emphasis will be on the relationship between Windows Operating System and MFC. Windows OS has three major components: user, graphics device interface (GDI), and kernel. User is a module that controls input devices, GDI is a module that services output devices, and kernel controls internal resources. These three components are called the API and communicate with MFC. Projects will be assigned to simulate the major components of API using MFC.
