A semester-long laboratory course dealing with investigation and analysis in genetics. Laboratory sessions will include genetic crosses of plants and animals and the subsequent analysis to determine linkage and gene mapping location. Computer exercises will also be used to establish genetic tools for modern molecular analysis. Four hours laboratory.
