An intensive study of the complete work of a selected western painter, sculptor, or architect. In accounting for and interpreting the evolution of the large body of work by a major artist, instructors will focus on social, art-historical, and biographical determinants that shaped the art in question. Title as listed in Schedule of Classes will change according to content. Courses may be repeated for credit when specific artist differs.
