Credit 3 hours. Prerequisite: Art 153. This course is an instruction to concepts and techniques practiced in contemporary sculpture. Through a continuation of experiences gained in ART 153, Three- Dimensional Design, students will expand their knowledge of spatial concepts pertaining to sculpture. Emphasis will be placed on creative problem solving and the development of skills in working with a variety of materials and techniques including welding, wood construction, assemblage and plastic media. Six hours of studio a week.
