Credit 3 hours. Prerequisites: Art 105 or 106 and ENGL 101 or permission of department head. This course surveys the art and architecture of the ancient Greeks and Romans and provides brief introductions of Aegean and Etruscan art. Course content is presented chronologically and considers the styles, techniques, and historical context of the art works. Three hours of lecture a week.
