Credit 3 hours. Prerequisites: Art 290 and 299 or permission of Department Head. An exploration of advanced digital artworks that incorporate interactivity, virtual spaces, motion, still images, and sound. Course will concentrate on three-dimensional rendering, non-linear video techniques, and sound editing. Readings and discussions will focus on technical, aesthetic, and theoretical issues relating to these evolving art mediums. Six hours of studio a week.
