Credit 3 hours. Prerequisite: Art 299. Theoretical and practical constructs in art curriculum development will be highlighted. Specific methodologies will be used to investigate traditional as well as contemporary modes of pedagogy. Media explorations appropriate to the secondary art program will also be highlighted. Students will earn a minimum of twenty (20) hours of direct teaching experience outside of class time. Lecture, lab and field experience, 5.25 contact hours a week.
