Credit 3 hours. Prerequisites: Art 105 or 106 and ENGL 101 or permission of department head. A chronological examination of the significant developments in photography leading up through the development of electronic means of creating and manipulating images. The course will explore the nature of this evolving medium, its relation to the culture in which it exists with emphasis on its reciprocity with other mediums in visual arts. Three hours of lecture a week.
