Credit 1-4 hours. Prerequisites: SPED 200 and permission of Department Head. An intensive examination of issues relevant to the field of special education. The course will focus on contributions of research, philosophy, and current best practices as they apply to the education of students with special needs. Course may be repeated for credit as topics vary for a maximum of 12 credit hours.
