Credit 3 hours. Prerequisites: Advanced standing in the graduate program or permission of the Head of the Department. An intensive examination into the issues relative to the reading program. This course will be interdisciplinary in nature and will focus upon contributions of research, philosophy, history, and educational psychology as they apply to the resolution of major issues in reading. May be repeated for a total of six hours credit, with no more than three credit hours in any one semester.
