Credit 3 hours. This course includes theory and procedures for the practical application of second language learning as well as the use of learning strategies. Also, this course is for the design of curriculum and assessment for teaching language and content to limited English proficient (LEP) students. Students who enroll in this course will be required to have exposure to LEP students to become familiar with their linguistic and cultural needs. This course is for certified teachers and candidates participating in a teacher education program.
