Credit 3 hours. Prerequisites: Criminal Justice 101 and Psychology 101, or instructor consent. Also offered as Psychology 205. Applications of psychology to the criminal justice system. Topics will include: theories of violence, eyewitness testimony, jury selection and procedures, expert testimony, victims, and prisons. Credit cannot be given for both Criminal Justice 207 and Psychology 205.
