Credit 5 hours. Prerequisites: A score of 27 or above on the Mathematics section of the ACT or Math 165. The first of a standard three-course sequence on the foundations of differential and integral calculus. Topics include limits, the derivatives, techniques of differentiation, applications of the derivative, antiderivatives, definite integrals, and the calculus of transcendental functions. A graphing calculator is required for this course.
