This course will study the writings of some of the major figures in existentialism (e.g., Kierkegaard, Nietzsche, Heidigger, Sartre, Camus) as well the writings of some of the other important figures in contemporary philosophy (e.g., Wittgenstein, Rorty, Foucault, etc.).
