Credit 3 hours. Prerequisite: CSD 615 or permission of the Department Head. This course provides an expanded view of normal language development with an emphasis on cross-cultural comparison and contrast. Developmental and acquired language disorders will be differentially examined. Best practices for nonbiased assessment, clinical intervention, and the ethical support of culturally/linguistically diverse populations will be explored.
