Credit 3 hours. Prerequisites: CSD 309 and a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher or approval of Department Head. This course is designed to provide pre-professional students with the knowledge to understand assessment in the following areas: communication, educational performance, cognitive aspects of communication, and adaptive behavior. Students will demonstrate assessment skills consistent with the scope of practice for speech-language pathology assistants.
