Credit 3 hours. Prerequisite: CSD 415 or CSD 515 and cumulative GPA of 2.5. This course provides an overview of children's language disorders. Linguistic and extra linguistic characteristics associated with various disorders are discussed, and the bases for differential diagnosis are provided. General and specific strategies for intervention are introduced. Credit cannot be given for both CSD 416 and CSD 516.
