Credit 3 hours. Prerequisites: Chemistry 122-124. This course examines the analytical process from method selection and sample preparation to interpretation and presentation of results focusing primarily on wet chemical methods of quantitative analysis. In depth theoretical and practical aspects of equilibria and complexation chemistry, volumetric and gravimetric analyses, potentiometry, basic spectroscopy, and statistical analysis are included.
