Credit 3 hours. Prerequisite: Students must be science education majors who have completed Chemistry 261-263 or by consent of the Department Head. Chemistry 251-254 are strongly recommended. Experiments will be presented and performed that illustrate the theories of chemistry and that can be used as demonstrations. Theory will be presented and used in conjunction with experiments. Six hours of laboratory per week. Laboratory fee: $30.00. 1May not be used as credit toward a major or minor in Chemistry and may not be used to fulfill prerequisites for any other chemistry course.
