Credit 1 hour. Prerequisite, Major in Biology, Junior status or permission of Department Head. An introduction to learning in biological sciences beyond the usual classroom or laboratory setting. Specific sections may allow students to gain experience in conducting research in designated specialties or focus on aspects of the philosophy, ethics, and history of scientific research. May be repeated for up to two credits. Two hours of field learning per week.
