Credit 4 hours. Prerequisite: GBIO 395. The study of ecological communities and the interactions of species that co-occur in time and space. The course will include the history of ideas, important examples, methods for data analysis, and casual factors associated with communities. Other topics covered will include succession, ordination, classification, competition, predation and mutualism. Three hours of lecture and three hours of laboratory per week.
