Lec. 8 Lab. 19 Credit 14.5 This course integrates concepts and strands previously presented in the curriculum. A systematic approach is utilized in planning and providing nursing care to individuals, families, and groups across the lifespan (pediatrics, adult and geriatrics). This course emphasizes selected acute and complex alterations in health and includes advanced content related to maternity care. An opportunity is provided for students to expand their theoretical knowledge, to broaden the application of critical thinking to the nursing process, and to refine their nursing skills in clinical settings. Prerequisites: ADN-145, ADN-221. Corequisite: PSY-111.
