Lec. 2 Lab. 2 Credit 3 This course will enable the students to use and demonstrate the principles of GPS, GIS, remote sensing and precision application equipment. Soil sampling, farm mapping, combine yield monitoring, and developing Geographic Information System databases will be explored. Students will be exposed to computers and the use of precision agriculture software. Laboratory work will be used to increase the understanding of key concepts.
