(0-1) 1 credit. Prerequisite or co-requisite: CEE/ENVE 426/526 or permission on instructor. A laboratory course to accompany CEE/ENVE 426/526. Examination of processes employed in design of environmental physical and chemical systems for renovation of contaminated waters and soils. Various bench-scale experiments will be performed with laboratory analysis using standard environmental web chemical and instrumental analytical techniques. Laboratory reports employing word processing, numerical and statistical analysis, and interpretation of process performance data will be written. Students enrolled in CEE 526L will be held to a higher standard than those enrolled in CEE 426L. This course is cross-listed with ENVE 426L/526L.
