Review of current research to explore the relationships between physical activity/exercise and health/disease. Primarily investigates the role of physical activity in disease prevention, but also examines the impact of a variety of physical conditions (e.g., obesity, aging, etc.) on the potential for an active lifestyle. Topics include cardiovascular diseases, musculoskeletal disorders, respiratory conditions, metabolic diseases, cancers, and mental health.
