Description:
First summer internship, providing clinical learning experiences that help the student acquire expertise and proficiency in a variety of diagnostic radiographic procedures by applying classroom theory to the actual practice of technical skills at specified levels of competency. Through research, each student prepares a written paper that demonstrates knowledge of topics relating to, but not limited to, radiation protection, student/staff/patient communication, or pediatric radiography. A minimum of 450 hours in the clinic environment is required. Student must have current CPR certification.
