Analysis of basic principles and industry best practices, including issues of human and environmental safety. Theory/overview of removing, repairing, replacing, and adjusting outer body panels; straightening and roughing out of damaged steel panels and preparing them for body filler; and repairing aluminum panels. Study of proper replacement of corrosion protection to the repaired panels and adjustment of panels for proper fit. Introductory theory of cutting and welding of steel. Group interaction/activities; application of assessment tools.
