Study of automotive management operational procedures for different types of service facilities. Emphasis on the tasks and duties of each member of the service team including the service consultant, technicians, and parts specialists. Topics include customer relations from the initial contact to the presentation of the invoice to the customer as well as the work environment, legal issues, warranties, campaigns and recalls as well as the job performance techniques for the service team. The course is aligned to the academic requirement for a writing enriched course. Course work includes writing the first stages of the senior project proposal.
