Description:
VST 113 (Formerly VS 113) Extremity Venous Disease and Assessment Students in this course will learn the gross and microscopic anatomy of the peripheral venous system, as well as normal and abnormal function and pathology of the veins. Complete testing protocols and diagnostic criteria will explained and demonstrated in the classroom and laboratory setting, while applying the physical principles related to the peripheral venous system. Various diagnostic evaluations and treatment options will be discussed. (3 Credits) Prerequisites: HTH125 and HTH105 and MAT120 and HTH100.
