This course presents fundamentals in the understanding and use of basic HVAC drawings and schematics to determine construction drawings to determine methods and materials of light construction. Emphasis is placed on architectural symbols, use of scales and orthographic projection. Upon successful completion of this course, students should be able to: Demonstrate an understanding of residential and light commercial construction practices. Demonstrate competencies in reading and intepreting technical drawings. Identify appropriate types of reference sources and use them effectively.
